When I arrived to Hedaya & Omar's engagement session, Hedaya's sister and some family friends had set up a beautiful Palestinian spread with items they had spent time gathering from friend's homes. They watched, so excited, as we shot the session under the tree and later told me that they had been talking about me (in Arabic) saying that they loved me and I just "got it," which is a moment i think about often and completely humbles me as I type this. We then proceeded to take some white linen photos from my magazine-worthy dreams in harsh light and it was just the best day. I drove home from Ault Park extremely excited to edit, to say the least.
